The Rebalance Formula™ for Food Sensitivities Master Class

Do you experience fatigue, digestive problems, migraines, body aches, anxiety or depression?

Have you ever considered that food sensitivity could be the cause?

Back in 2008 I was feeling awful.

I suffered from such intense fatigue that on some days I couldn’t even leave the house. I had persistent body pains from my head through to my feet.

What’s worse, the decline in my physical health meant that I started becoming what I refer to now as “Mean Mommy”. Because I was suffering so intensely, it made it very difficult for me to be patient and present with my kids.

It was a difficult period of my life, but everything changed when I decided to adopt a gluten-free diet.

Quite frankly, the results were shocking (in a good way!). Within two weeks, I was a completely different person – or more accurately, I started feeling more like myself than I had in years.

  • I felt energetic and vibrant again.
  • My body pains improved dramatically.
  • “Mean Mommy” left and my patience returned – I found I had more capacity to just enjoy my family.
  • I began to LIVE again!

The changes were not easy at first, but they were oh-so-worth-it. I have been gluten-free since that time, and I have learned so many lessons, tips and tricks along the way.

This experience didn’t just change the way I eat. It also ultimately changed my profession! Because after several years of researching food sensitivities and navigating the journey of food allergies and intolerances – for both myself and my children – I decided to train as a Holistic Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

To help you get to the root of your symptoms I created The Rebalance Formula

An Interview with Marianne Williamson

Interviewer: Sheree Clark, Midlife Courage Coach

Whether you consider yourself “political” or not, tune into Sheree Clark’s interview with Marianne Williamson.

Don’t know who Marianne Williamson is?

Marianne is with a woman who already occupies a place in history. She’s been a guest on Oprah, Good Morning America, and Larry King Live. She’s written more than a dozen books, and a few years ago Newsweek magazine even called her one of the 50 most influential Baby Boomers.

And now, she is a candidate for President of the United States in the 2020 election.

Some of the key points of this interview are:

* Where spirituality and politics intersect
* What her morning “non-negotiable” is
* How she knows who to trust
* Why fear seems to be so rampant in our culture today
* What she might like as much or more than being president of the United States

“I look out and see a lot of decent, loving people and think, “Wow, we could change the world with that.” –Marianne Williamson

Marianne is certainly someone you should get to know.

Stop Feeling Bad About Being “Selfish”

It could save your life.

In my informal polls with friends, colleagues, and clients, the overall consensus is that “selfish” has a negative connotation. Essentially something that “shouldn’t” be done. Otherwise, there are bad or guilty feelings, internal tension, or at minimum, additional stress. None of which are good for you.

One day I was inspired to look up the suffix, “-ish.” Good news; “-ish” essentially means, “relating to.”

So, let me get this straight. Somewhere along the way, relating to your self became a bad thing!?!

It doesn’t make any sense. However, as you know, words have energetic power and if you are contracting against something that could actually save your life, it is time for a redefinition.

Is “save your life” a bit dramatic? Yes and no. It depends on your current perspective and corresponding actions. Do you cater to others, external obligations, or should’s most of the time even though you are exhausted and depleted? Perhaps there is a simmering volcano of resentment mixed in there too? In this scenario, relating to your Self can save your life – quality for sure, potentially quantity as well.

The human being reality is that if you do not turn towards YOUR needs (and act on them), something is going to break down (body-mind-emotions-spirit-soul) and it will not be pretty.

A slightly less dramatic example: you – or someone you know – are so tired (a physiological reality being expressed from your body wisdom), want a break/day off/vacation (a very human need to rest), but don’t want to let so-and-so down, so you keep going because you want to avoid the bad feelings that come from the warped definition of selfish and end up becoming more tired, cranky, etcetcetc. Not pretty.

(I am a recovering martyr. I know.)

It is time to up-level “selfish” into this current era, let your Self off the hook from the disempowering brainwashing, and redefine what this life-saving action really means.

“RELATING TO SELF” IDEAS:
Self-Communicating
Self-Caring
Self-Tending
Self-Nurturing
Self-Loving
Self-Blessing

What is a word, image, metaphor, or other mental place cards that you can insert when you feel the ugh of “selfish?” What will inspire, uplift, and support your birthright to take exquisite care of ALL of you?

If you have any hesitation whatsoever, listen to your body. It tells you the truth of your experience. No one else’s, just yours. You get to listen and respond.

The result? More of the best you to light up the world!

After all, this is what we are here for.

Top 10 Reasons to Hire a Travel Agent

I’ve can’t tell you how many times someone has exclaimed almost in shock, “they still exist”? whenever I’m asked what I do for a living. Yes, travel agents do exist. We are making a comeback and a difference in the way you travel!

Until the last 20 years if you wanted to go on a trip you had to purchase an airline ticket through a travel agency. There was no other way to do it! Once the internet was born the so-called information highway, many people – the do it yourself-ers decided that the web was the “smarter and faster” way to book travel. As a result, countless brick & mortar travel agencies closed their doors as online travel agencies gained momentum & clientele.

Fast forward to the early 2000s and if you couldn’t “Google” it, it simply didn’t exist. The problem? There’s SO much information on the internet. Too much information and much of it isn’t even accurate!

For example, take a look at these pictures. The first one of the couple walking hand in hand showcases a resort’s beach in the Dominican Republic. The second picture is the same beach!

Couple Strolling Hand in Hand on Beach

Not so Secluded Beach

If my clients told me they wanted a secluded, non-crowded beach and I sent them to tis particular resort based on the first photo that is found directly on the resort’s website, they would be incredibly disappointed when they arrived and realized that it really looks like the second picture. Lots of lounge chairs equal lots of people.

Which brings me to my point, my top 10 reasons you should hire a travel agent instead of booking a vacation on your own through the internet.

1. There is no fee to use an agent for your travel needs – the resorts, tour operators and
hotels pay us a commission!

2. Travel is our area of expertise so we can recommend the perfect property based on your
specific tastes for an amazing experience.

3. Travel agents constantly visit properties to gain first-hand knowledge. We also attend
industry seminars and webinars to keep up to date with the latest updates, deals, and perks in
the travel industry.

4. The internet does not call you back or answer your questions. Your travel agent truly cares
that you have a memorable vacation

5. Your time is valuable. Don’t waste it searching for information that we have at our
fingertips.

6. We save you from the stress of booking a trip blindly on your own. Don’t risk wasting your
money or your vacation by choosing a resort may look like a good deal on the internet but in
reality turns out to be the exact opposite!

7. Travel agents have relationships with the resorts and tour operators that can gain you better
travel perks. We even know if a property is under construction.

8 Your travel agent will help you prepare for your trip, point out specific details and remind
you of things you may not think of on your own.

9. Travel agents save you money! We have the most current unpublishes resort and package
specials!

10. You can start your vacation with peace of mind because we handle everything for you!

Make a Great Impression with Mainstream Boutique

After four years on South Broadway, Rochester’s Mainstream Boutique is settling into a new location in the TJ Maxx Plaza.

The women’s clothing shop made the move north late last month. The new space gives the growing boutique more room and positions the business closer to other eclectic retailers.

“There’s so much action close by,” said owner Jennelle Stemper. “There are so many great retail stores around here.”
Already, the move appears to be paying off. Sales are up, said Stemper, and each day new people are walking through the door.
“Our customers from over [on Broadway] have been able to find us and are loving our new space,” she said. “And then we are gaining so much traction with people who may have never heard of us because it is so much more convenient.”

The Rochester location is one of more than 70 independently-owned franchises across the country. The stores focus on offering the latest trends at affordable price points.

What separates Mainstream Boutique from other retailers, Stemper said, is the emphasis on customer service. She wants every woman to walk out of her store both looking and feeling great.

“I want you to feel really welcome; I want you to feel really comfortable; and I want you to be treated like you’re walking into my home,” said Stemper. “We also want you to feel really confident when you leave about what you’re wearing.”

To keep things fresh, Mainstream Boutique has a constant flow of new clothes coming into the store. Stemper said she wants to give every woman the opportunity to find something unique.

“I think it speaks to someone’s personality what they’re wearing,” she said. “You have 20 seconds to make a first impression on someone, and I think clothes speak to how you feel on the inside.”

Mainstream is now open seven days a week. The shop will hold a grand opening on October 26 and 27.
