Weight of the world on your shoulders?  The tension can be brutal. I get it!

As an energetically sensitive person, I have experienced the world as a very loud, overstimulating, often overwhelming place to live – sometimes just survive – for a long time.

I learned a while ago that if I attempt to keep up with the pace of the world’s unrelenting, inhumane pace of modern culture, I won’t make it.

Fortunately, I have expanded my restorative toolbox along the way to turn up the volume of my inner world to guide me back to my best (better) self. This helps me release tension and stay more aligned with what I need to do, to be, to not do.

One of my go-to tools is movement, of all kinds.  The video below shows gentle movements that reduce upper shoulder, back, and neck tension – using a paintbrush for guidance.  😉

You are born to move freely with ease and grace. Turn away from the limiting, linear movement patterns leftover from the Industrial Revolution and reclaim your birthright to move freely. Your body is essentially an ocean walking around the world and you are certainly more fluid than you might “think.”

If you would like to reduce tension and experience more of this kind of gentle, restorative inside out movement, try my weekly Fluid Movement Freedom classes on Thursdays at 12noon EST. Practice your embodiment of more ease and grace. Open to everybody and sliding scale $0 – $10 during these current times of global healing. Click here to learn more.

In the meantime here are some quick tips to help ease neck pain.
